This is an absolutely fabulous technology. At first it was difficult to understand but it won't take long to grasp. The current way of running power is to have all 12/24 volt circuits running to a common breaker panel in the middle of the boat typically around the lower helm. That is a lot of cable running fore and aft of the boat. The new way is a single circuit running fore and aft. That is 3 wires running the length of the boat. One positive, one negative, and a control wire. You still have a breaker panel but it only has the 3 wires running to it. The individual breakers are near all the loads for water pumps, lights, and electronics. The ease of wiring a boat just got a lot simpler. Since I am looking at redoing the wiring on The Great Escape these are my thoughts: Manufactures to research: CAPI2 - www.capi2.com Moritz Aerospace - www.moritzaero.com EmpirBus - www.empirbus.com E-T-A - www.e-t-a.com
