I did a little research on Google and found out that Heat Transfer Products, Inc. was the manufacturer so I gave them a call at 800-323-9651. They told me I needed an E1010 and gave me the name of Ocean Options as a source. I looked up the part on Google and found that I could get it for $73.99 from Defender Industries (www.defender.com). I still called Ocean Options but they wanted considerably more.

I also stopped by Sears and picked up a 1 ½” socket and a ¾” to ½” adapter for my Craftsman ratchet to remove the old element from the tank. If you have a basin wrench that may work in some cases but the tolerances were not large enough in this case.
