How to Repair Teak Deck Screws - Page 3

The first step is to drill a small pilot hole in the center of the bung. I knew I had a problem very early on when the drill bit walked a bit and I started seeing epoxy dust instead of sawdust.

 

I figured if I had epoxy on one and wood corrosion a couple boards over it might be a good idea to drill out a few more.
