How to Install ofBiz on openSUSE 11 - Page 3

Install phpMyAdmin.  phpMyAdmin is a web based graphical interface to manage mysql.  This will allow you to create databases, users, set permissions on the database.  Will also allow you to backup the database.  Much easier than the command line.

Launch - Computer - Install Software

Select Filter Search and enter the search term "phpMyAdminl"

Place a check in phpMyAdmin

Click on "Accept"

Click "Continue" for additional dependencies

 

Install subversion.  Subversion is a program that will copy the source code from ofbiz servers to your server.

Launch - Computer - Install Software

Select Filter Search and enter the search term "subversion"

Near the top of the list place a check in kdesvn.  This will install the graphical tool for kde and the additional dependencies will get the subversion svn client.

Click on "Accept"

Click "Continue" for additional dependencies
